In the final, they will meet compatriot Shin Baek-cheol/Yoo Hyun-young who defeated Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Rytter Juhl in a marathon, 12-21, 21-15, and 24-22 in an hour and 35 minutes.
Unfortunately, Korea was unsuccessful to place a pair in women's doubles final as Ha Jung-eun and Lee Kyung-won were beaten by Japanese fifth seeds, Miyuki Maeda and Satoko Suetsuna, in rubber sets, 21-13, 19-21, and 20-22.
In the men's doubles semi-final, top seeds Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong will play against fourth-seeded Carsten Mogensen and Mathias Boe while Ko Sung-hyun/Yoo Yeon-seong, who defeated second-seeded Lee Yong-dae/Jung Jae-sung in the second round, will compete against Japanese Hirokatsu Hashimoto and Noriyasu Hirata.
