Lee Yong-dae and Lee Hyo-jung Advance

Suwon-Top seed Lee Yong-dae and Lee Hyo-jung vanquished Chinese Tao Jiaming and Ma Jin 21-16, 21-18 to reach Asian Badminton Championship final in just 42 minutes.

The local favorites will meet teammate Yoo Yeon-seong/Kim Min-jung who overcame Noriyasu Hirata/Miyuki Maeda of Japan 21-15 and 21-15.

Lee Hyo-jung also progressed to the women's doubles final, pairing with Lee Kyung-won. The 2008 Olympic silver medalists defeated top-seed Cheng Wen-Hsing/Chien Yu-Chin in straight sets, 21-19, 21-18.


Lee/Lee will face Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli of China who eliminated compatriots Zhang Jiewen/Yang Wei 21-16, 22-20.


The men's singles final is all-Chinese as fourth seed Bao Chunlai meets junior Chen Long. Bao Chunlai subdued Sho Sasaki 22-20 and 21-10. The Japanese played tough in the first set but his performance dropped in the second set.

Meanwhile, unseeded Chen Long beat another Chinese player, Du Pengyu in straight sets, 21-16 and 28-26.

In the women's singles, China dominates again. Senior player Xie Xingfang will play against Zhu Lin in the final. Xie Xingfang battled enduring Wang Yihan 21-18, 19-21, and 21-12 while Zhu Lin easily passed Wang Lin 21-12, 21-16.
