Great Lin Is Still the Best

Birmingham-World number two and three times All England champion Lin Dan proved that he is still the best after vanquishing top seed Lee Chong Wei in straight sets, 21-19 and 21-12. The match only lasted for 43 minutes.

Chinese Lin Dan created 8 smash winners and 3 net winners in the first set compared to Lee Chong Wei's 2 smash winners and just 1 net winner. Lin Dan led the first set 8-2, and then took it 21-19.

The second set was even easier. After leading 2-1, 3-2, 4-3, 5-4, and 6-5, Lee Chong Wei always trailed behind Lin Dan and managed only to take 12 points. Lin Dan was crowned the champion of the 2009 All England after sweeping the set 12.

For Lin Dan, it is his fourth title after winning the All England in 2004, 2006, and 2007.
